A space for ceramic research and production in Paris
Lumierrante is a production workshop specialising in ceramic 3D printing, based in Paris’s 11th arrondissement. Since 2020, our work has developed across the fields of art, design and architecture.
Our location in Paris has enabled us to establish a local production unit that favours bespoke pieces over standardised objects. Ceramics are approached from a cross-disciplinary perspective, bringing art, design and technical expertise into dialogue throughout each project.
Between art and technique
The use of 3D printing builds on traditional ceramic production methods. Expertise in modelling, slip casting and glazing is combined with digital design skills, including 3D modelling, 3D scanning, virtual reality and procedural coding. Bringing these areas of expertise together broadens the possibilities for production, enabling us to explore complex geometries and specific surface treatments.
Particular attention is paid to the details and finishes of every piece. Lumierrante conducts extensive research into high-temperature glazes, exploring the technical and aesthetic qualities of ceramic materials. The palette developed in the workshop encompasses a wide range of colours, materials and textures. Bespoke glazes can also be formulated to meet the specific requirements of a project.
Lumierrante is committed to precise, original and innovative ceramics. The workshop operates as a human-scale space for production and research, where working methods are reconsidered for each project and the importance of materiality in everyday objects is brought back to the fore.

Jessica Boubetra
Jean-Baptiste Lenglet
Jessica Boubetra is an architect and artist. She studied at the Paris-Malaquais School of Architecture and trained in sculpture at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, before studying ceramics at Tokyo University of the Arts. Her research into the robotic 3D printing of ceramic materials led her to explore the relationships between digital design, sculpture and architecture.
Jean-Baptiste Lenglet is an artist. After studying film, he trained in sculpture at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, where his research focused on the relationships between image, space and installation. His work with digital environments and his growing interest in ceramics led him to seek new ways of giving material form to virtual tools.
The convergence of their research and their shared interest in sculpture and ceramics led to the creation of Lumierrante in 2020: a workshop conceived to develop and produce projects at the intersection of materiality and digital technologies.
