« Le Fonds Municipal d’art de Pantin voit le jour en 1991 et s’enrichit, dès lors, d’acquisitions d’œuvres contemporaines auprès d’artistes vivant ou travaillant à Pantin achetées lors d’expositions ou de visites d’ateliers. Les échanges avec les créateurs favorisent aussi quelques dons. Aujourd’hui ce fonds d’art contemporain de Pantin, riche de plus de 300 œuvres, reflète l’effervescence créative des plasticiens et plasticiennes pantinois. (…) »
